SONA 2018

     " I value friendship but it has it's limit ", " Your concern is human rights, mine is human lives", " You worry about the present, I worry about the future". These are just some of the remarks of President Rodrigo Duterte from his SONA that caught peoples attention.  July 23,2018 our President Duterte third SONA has ended, it only takes him 47 minutes and 55 seconds to be exact to finished it and believe it or not President said this without cussing. But what can we tell about his SONA?, do we agree on what his saying?.
   
     The SONA of the President Duterte received a different reaction from the netizens. Some are positive but many people disagree on what he said because he seemed liked he's contradicting his own statements and stances. In his SONA he mentioned about the hot issue about the war on drugs he said that it will be relentless and chilling, "Possibly hinting the pushers or drug addicts that they will be killed, care about human lives, huh?" that's what other says about this. He also talked about corruption, and said " Stolen wealth does not make the thief respectable". The ISIS group, our relationship to the other country, about the restoring of the Boracay, our moost visited place, the hardsip of the OFW in the other country and the trust fund of the coconut farmers. I pray to God to make the President always do the right thing and make his dream for our country come true nad not just become a one of the broken promises of a politician.
   
     I know we all want a great and a peaceful country but we can't achieve this if our leader is just then one who's making the job, we need cooperation.

Pride of Ilocano

     It started with a boom. The night sky was lit up with the colorful fireworks. The crowd was giddy with delight. The set of artists performed. Big speakers, loud music that made more the audience energetic. The atmosphere is full of happiness and joy. Opening of Kannawidan was indeed a success. Everyday I go to school I always passed by the people who is exerting their efforts, working hard just to set-up, just to prepare the set location  (Tamag grounds) for Kannawidan. Working under the sun, lifting heavy materials, cleaning the area. They really made sure that everything is prepared. Gadget!, Itabi muna.

     Kasabay sa paglipas ng panahon ang pagbabago at pag-unlad. Nagta-taasang mga gusali, nagga-gandahang mga sasakyan, nagla-lakihang mga telebisyon, nagni-nipisang mga telepono- mga makabagong gadget. Walang masama sa pagkakaroon o paggamit ng mga ito basta ika'y responsable at alam mo ang hangganan nito.        Lahat na ata ng mga bata hindi lang sa Pilipinas kundi sa boung mundo ay mayroon o marunong gumamit ng telepono. Tatlong taong gulang pa lamang may hawak ng gadget, pindot, pindot. Sa murang edad pa lamang nila namulat na sila sa teknolohiya.
