Gift, give it back!

The 25th of December, the day when we received our greatest gift, our saviour was born.      Christmas is one of the most awaited season if all people, especially we Filipinos. Excited to the gifts that we are to receive,  food that we would be eating, and of course to  the dress that we would be  wearing. The atmosphere are surrounded with positive emotions. We were so happy happy celebrating, drinking, laughing like its our last day but we didn't that not all are experiencing this. Poor families that are living in the streets, families that doesn't have a food to eat, sleeping without even in taking anything. This is the reality not all people have the same status as you.      Christmas is the day of giving. Share, spread and give love. It is not important how much you give because it the thought  that counts. Giving even you are also in need, giving wholeheartedly without waiting for return. Sharing without thinking of any reward or tokens.  Show your love even in th

Man, women, gays, bisexuals, must be treated the same without unfairness or any  injustices.          Discrimination, humiliation, abuses, violence - the world is full of these. The  silent cries of agony, never ending pains, wound that doesn't stop from bleeding, the bruised that are hidden in the sleeves. Yes, even in our time now there  are  still these brutal acts. Don't we know the effects of these to the others?, maybe no? so there are still people doing it, or maybe yes? but we are just being selfish, self-centered, the feelings of others doesn't matter anymore or simply you are just being  a monster.      Let us open our eyes now, don't be afraid to fight for  our rights. No one can stamp, belittle, downgrade anyone. Everyone has a slot in this world, has a role that must fulfill and a hole that must fill.          We are all humans so we must act as well as humans. We Need Them

Children are blessing that came from above, they must be loved and treasure. Children are the future, they must be guide and raise responsibly. They are the light that will change our dark world, the missing piece of our puzzle, the key to the bigger door that we are anticipating to open.      The Philippines, our country the month of October is dedicated to the children since 1993, mandated by Presidential Proclamation 267. Children's Month is being celebrated annually to recognized and emphasize the important role of children within the Filipino family and in nation building, the children is our future whether we agree or not  and also this is  a campaign to end violence against children and to promote their physical, emotional, moral, spiritual and intellectual well-being. According to UNICEF ( United Nations Children's Fund), every year millions of children around the world become victims of untold violence. Children are being abuse, neglect and exploit, and the most

Gadget!, Itabi muna.

It can

A bright future, everyone wants to achieve it. Everybody dreams to have it, who wouldn't?. Life that you don't need to worry anything. Everyday vacation without thinking any burden and problems. But it is not easy as it says, you need to surpass the strong waves to swim freely, you need to walk in the road full of roses, you need to wait until the storm finishes to see the rainbow.           I think the National Reading Month theme- "Pagbasa: susi sa magandang kinabukasan" is right. Reading is so powerful , and it can be do by anyone, everyone has the ability to read, no one can stop them from doing it. Reading is one of my hobbies since I was a kid, I really love it. It benefited me a lot, my vocabulary range widens , it will surely give you more knowledge about something, will answer all the questions running in your head. You've always got something in return, it is not a waste of time. Reading can take you anywhere, to different places, or even o the p

UN celebration

The theme on this year is, "Coming together with these furthest behind to build an exclusive world of universal respect for human rights and dignity". Together let us rebuild the world and make equality possible, regardless to the status of life, gender or education attainment.      Everyone has a right, right to live, to study, to be respected. These rights is not just an exclusive to the rich people, to the influential families but anyone who is a well-being. Even to the poor or to the poorest people. No one should be left behind, let us make a step forward together. Fight together, to achieve it together. Let us end the problems and issues of our country to live the world that we are dreaming for. Let us reach out the other people, encourage them. No one should be afraid and give-up.       All people must work  hand in hand, cooperate, if you want yo change start it first within yourself and invite other people to make the change.

Second Grading

So this is the feeling to be like a grade-10 student it's so hard not just because of this subject but the combining forces of all. Sometimes I just want to give-up but I've started it and I have ti finish it, I must.      These are the things that I've learned in my ICT subject this grading. What is internet access, types of LAN's and wireless broadband, the web page, the URL and it's part, the protocol, domain, directory path, object name and spot. The HTML tags, the types of tags- stand-alone and container tags. How to make a web page, notepad and attributes. I'm not realy y familiar with the software or applications in a computer, thanks to this subject that reached me a lot of things, for adding my  knowledge about this.       Second grading is hard but I've also enjoyed it. Yes, it is stressful but at the end of the day we can always say that it is worth it.

Science Month Celebration

We are now living in the modern age, where technologies became part of our daily lives. Technologies that makes our work faster and easier.      In every month of September we are celebrating the Science Club month celebration. In this celebration different activities are being held. Like in our school -Ilocos Sur National High School, we conducted a poster making contest, photography contest, sci-collage and even the Ginoo at Binibining kalikasan. "WAVEFRONT: accentuating potentials, activating technological advancements", this is the theme this year. They wanted to discover the students who had the ability to make innovations. They wanted to discover little scientists and inventors to help our community, environment and economics. To encouraged the students to share their hidden talents, creativity, beauty and intelligence. And fortunately the activities became successful. The Science Month ended very well, thanks to the students who participated.       The techno

Heroes in Reality

Maybe if you've asked to described what hero is, your answer will be like this, "a person who wears a mask, a cape and an underwear outside his/her pants", the typical superhero  in a movie. " A person that posses a supernatural powers, an ability that does not exist in the real world.       A superhero for me is just wearing a simple uniform, always holding a chalk in one of his/her hand and a book on the other one.The heroes is just like me, you, we, they are just a simple human being that have an extraordinary heart. The teacher is the heroes that exist not just in a mere fantasy but in the cruel reality. Teachers do a lot of this things for their students. They sacrifice the time that they should be spending with their families, their own happiness, the efforts that they are exerting just to make sure that we are learning and of course their everlasting patience for us- students. Yes, they are receiving a salary from the government but  is this enough

Light in the Darkness ( Resiliency of the Filipinos)

After a storm comes a rainbow, that's what we, Filipino believed that after all the challenges that may come into our way, it's always end up wonderfully, successfully, end up with a happy one. That not all time we would suffer, not all the time we would be in pain.      Philippines is one of the most disaster-prone countries. we are located at the Pacific Ring of Fire where the active volcanoes situated. There are also 21-26 typhoons entering in the PAR per year. And because of this, many lives has been wasted, has been sacrificed. Many properties was destroyed, wealth and family. Yes, Philippines is very rich in terms of natural resources but even though it is, our economic status are not that really stable. Many people are suffering poverty, they do not even get a proper meal a day, they do not even have the money to go to school and buy themselves a pair of clothe. Jobs are not enough for all the people but after all of this sufferings the smile on their face never f

Healthy investment and a Healthy life

In every month of July we are celebrating the nutrition month. And this years theme is " Ugaliing magtanim, sapat na nurisyon aanihin ". to achieve a helthy life we need to invest, we need to do something, do an efffort, and that is planting. But do we really realize the importance of it?.      Some of the teenagers nowadays don't even know the names of the vegetables and fruits. We need to learn, not all the times we can have someone to do this for us. And harvesting from your own garden is different from just buying them. The feeling of fulfillment is there, and in doing this, we can realize the value, the worth of these healthy foods, we can't waste or just throw them away because we know the hardship on planting them. It can also help us in financial aspect and can make our lifestyle change for the better. We are lucky if we can have  mini-garden at home, not all people are fortunate to have or make this, there are some of us who do not have a vacant space,
